Day 2 in Hong Kong.

Can't pass up a photo op like this one :-)
A long hike to visit the Buddha.

Hot Chocolate at the ever present Starbucks to warm up from the cable car ride!

It was great to seeBuddha and know that the cable car ride was almost over.
On a sunny, warm day, I'm sure the ride would be fantastic......

The 13 hour time difference has been tough on everyone, but we’re working on it. Ben, Laura and Lianne were up at 4:30 am, but stayed in their room quietly listening to iTunes or playing their DS games.
Today is cold and rainy in Hong Kong, but we layered up and headed off to the longest cable car ride up to visit the Po Lin Buddha. The ride was a little nerve wracking and lasted 25 minutes, but even with the fog the views were beautiful. The temperature at the top was 2 degrees, so we stopped at Starbucks and bought hot chocolate before heading up the 268 stairs to the Buddha.

Supper tonight was Wonton noodle soup at the food court of the mall attached to the hotel. Went to bed early and are hoping for better weather tomorrow!
